Beautiful spread Natalie! I’m wanting to add more time to my daily sketching routine. It’s a ‘must’ state of being. Thank you for your gentle encouragement and inspiration.
Much of what you shared in your post resonated with me. Time! I've found as I have begun the Drawn to the Wild year-long course that I need to as you said, make the time, dedicate the time - and the morning for me is the best time. Reading your morning routine which has similarities to mine, I realized that is the perfect time for me to draw for 15 minutes, just as I write in the morning. Thank you!
Oh Karen, I am so glad to hear this! This work is an act of self care, and we deserve it. I am so excited for your journey, and for all the beauty you put into the world!
Natalie, what a great post! I sometimes feel like I shouldn’t start a drawing because I don’t have enough time right now, I’ll wait until later. Somehow later doesn’t come. Great advice. Take care.
Oh Marianne, the number of times I have had that same conversation with myself (and lack of actual drawing). This slow. gentle practise is such a gift, isn't it! Thankyou always for your kind words :)

Ahh, that is so lovely to hear, that the practise of self care via pencil and paper is an imperative for you. I wish you all the wildness!!
